Malta and Gozo — before we open

Founding Professional

A limited number of professionals come onto MaltaQuotes before we open to the public: set up your profile without rushing, we verify you, and on day one you are already online while the others are just starting.

What it involves

  • You open the account on our invitation, after we have read your application.
  • You complete your profile, services and areas covered without rushing, in the weeks before we open.
  • Until launch day there are no requests to see and no quotes to send: there is nobody on the other side yet.
  • Whoever passes the verification gets the "Founding Professional" badge on their profile.
  • Applying is free and commits you to nothing.

What you need

A phone number, the categories you work in and, if applicable, your Maltese VAT number. When given, the VAT number is worth a single account: if your business already has a profile on MaltaQuotes, write to us instead of applying again.

You do not need to upload anything to apply. For some regulated categories we may later ask you for a licence or a certificate, but only if the verification genuinely needs it: we will tell you, from your own area, once your profile is complete.

Apply

This is the address we send our reply to and, if the application is accepted, the personal invitation: the account will open with this same address.
We need it to reach you before we open. It is not public and is not shown to anyone. Choose the country and type the number without the dialling code. If you prefer, you can type the full number with the international code (+356…).
If you have one, enter the eight digits with or without the MT prefix. The same number cannot be used by more than one account.
What you offer Choose every category you work in: at least one. You will pick the precise sub-activities later, in your own area, where you can also see what each of them requires.
Where you work At least one. You can tick both.
How long you have been working, how many of you there are, licences you hold. Do not write other people's details here.

We will reply by email. We are not creating any account now and we are not asking you for any password.
